For axial measurements on shafts smaller than 13 mm, reduce the gap to mitigate scale factor changes. Use three-conductor shielded triad cable for field wiring, keeping total length under 305 meters.
Maintenance & Reliability
The probe's stainless steel case and PPS tip offer excellent durability. The Viton O-ring seals differential pressure between tip and case, but probes are not pressure-tested before shipment. Inspect the connector and cable regularly for wear, and confirm the bend radius stays above 25.4 mm to prevent signal degradation.
Compatibility & Integration
This probe is mechanically and electrically interchangeable with Bently Nevada's previous 3300 RAM proximity probe and extension cable. It works with the 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor for seamless integration into existing monitoring systems.
