Product Overview
When cross-talk or improper mounting compromises proximity measurement accuracy, the Bently Nevada 330709-00-05-10-12-05 3300 XL 11 mm Probe delivers reliable performance. This probe is part of the 3300 XL series, designed for precise displacement and vibration monitoring in rotating machinery. Manufactured in the U.S.A., it features an M16x1.5 thread, a FluidLoc cable, and multiple agency approvals.

Installation Guide
To ensure reliable operation, apply the correct probe case torque of 63.3 N•m for M16x1.5 threads. Avoid over-tightening. The connector-to-connector torque should be finger tight, with a maximum of 0.565 N•m (5 in•lb). Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) on the cable to prevent internal damage. Thread engagement must not exceed 24 mm.
Maintenance and Reliability
The Bently Nevada 330709-00-05-10-12-05 operates across a wide temperature range from -52°C to +177°C. However, exposure below -34°C before use may cause premature pressure seal failure—store and handle accordingly. The PPS tip resists wear, and the 304 stainless steel case provides corrosion resistance. Periodic resistance measurements of the probe (center to outer conductor) should confirm 5.9 ± 0.5 ohms for 1.0 m length.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Cross-talk can be minimized by using the recommended minimum target size: 30.5 mm diameter for flat surfaces and 152 mm for shafts. If readings drift, check the connector torque and cable integrity. Use the 75 Ω triaxial cable in lengths of 1, 5, or 9 meters exactly as specified. Avoid sharp bends shorter than 25.4 mm. For any uncertainties, consult the full datasheet at UBEST Automation.
