Functional Description
The IS220PAICH1B uses a 16-bit ADC to digitize analog inputs, with a 5 ms scan time ensuring fast response. For current inputs, the terminal board includes a 250 Ω burden resistor, producing a 5 V signal at 20 mA. The two analog outputs operate at 18 V compliance in simplex or TMR mode, with a 14-bit DAC and a current regulator loop for precision.
Each output circuit includes a normally open mechanical relay for enabling/disabling output. In TMR systems, this relay isolates a failed output, allowing the remaining PAICs to maintain correct operation—a critical feature for fault-tolerant control.
