Installation & Setup Guidance
Install the probe with finger-tight torque initially, then adjust to a maximum of 0.56 N•m (5 in•lb). For the probe case, recommended torque is 11.3 N•m (100 in•lb) with a maximum of 33.9 N•m (300 in•lb). Ensure the target surface is clean and the minimum target diameter is 8.9 mm (0.35 in); for best accuracy, use a target of at least 13 mm (0.5 in) diameter. Maintain a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) for the cable to prevent damage.
Maintenance & Reliability
Regularly inspect the probe cable for wear and ensure the connector remains tight. The probe is designed to seal differential pressure with a Viton O-ring; however, it is not pressure tested before shipment.
