Performance and Reliability
The 330904-00-25-05-02-CN probe is mechanically and electrically compatible with Bently Nevada's previous 3300 RAM probe and extension cable, ensuring easy upgrade paths. The increased chemical resistance of the NSv design allows its use in many process compressor applications where aggressive media are present.

Installation and Setup
Proper installation is key to optimal performance. The probe case thread is M8X1, and the maximum thread engagement is 12 mm. Use finger tight torque for initial mounting, with a maximum torque of 0.56 N•m (5 in•lb). For connector-to-connector torque, the maximum rated is 7.3 N•m (65 in•lb) and recommended is 5.1 N•m (45 in•lb) for 1/4-28 or M8X1 probe cases.
Ensure the probe cable is routed with a minimum bend radius of 25.4 mm (1.0 in) to avoid damage. Field wiring should be 0.2 to 1.5 mm² (16 to 24 AWG) [0.25 to 0.75 mm² (18 to 23 AWG) with ferrules]. Use a three-conductor shielded triad cable with a maximum length of 305 meters (1,000 feet) between the 3300 XL NSv Proximitor Sensor and the monitor.
